Once in Oshawa we got on a train to Ottawa and arrived there later Saturday evening. We only had Sunday to spend there but it was enough. We wandered around and made our way to the parliament where we took a few selfies. We love the 3D Canada 150 signs! We were waiting for Brad's friend to come and pick us up to take us to church with them. After we continued wandering. I never realized that Ottawa was so close to Quebec! Seriously, the Parliament building to on the river which borders the two provinces!
We had poutine for lunch and had a nice relaxing time in Ottawa. I'm sure that we would have found more things to do if we had the time, but we were quite content to just see the parliament and Brad's friend.
